When you switch out your toothbrush every 3 months, do you try something new or stick to your favorite toothbrush? The Oral-B Advantage Glide Advance Clean Toothbrush was a great replacement for my old toothbrush.  The very soft bristles were gentle on my teeth and massaged my gums with no irritation. The bristles easily glided over my teeth and removed visible plaque and food pieces. Oral B provides dependable toothbrushes that I can always count on for comfort and reliability to keep my teeth and gums in the best shape possible.  The toothbrush has an easy grip rubber handle and I am able to reach my wisdom teeth and the back of my teeth.  These are my problem areas in regards to plaque buildup and I keep a close eye on my wisdom teeth.  I would order a pack of these toothbrushes and keep them available for travel, family, and guests.  Dependable and trustworthy for my oral health.

What can we do to help you floss your teeth more often? What exactly is it that makes flossing intolerable? The pain, the mess, the bleeding, or all of the above? One of my favorite whitening products is whitening toothpaste.  I like to multi-task and whitening toothpaste whitens your teeth while cleaning your teeth at the same time.  I have a busy life and sometimes I do not have half an hour to whiten my teeth.  But I always have time to brush my teeth twice a day and whitening them during the same time spares a few minutes. I have tried many whitening toothpastes and I like to see immediate results of the whitening.  That is usually my test for whitening toothpastes.

Arm & Hammer advanced white toothpaste makes several types of toothpastes to fit your every need.  Sensitive, mouthwash, brilliant sparkle, and with baking soda.  All great products targeted to whiten your teeth.  The baking soda in the Arm & Hammer toothpastes was definitely a new texture to get used to. Once you get used to the graininess of the toothpaste you can tell that the baking soda is actively working to clean your teeth and leave your mouth remarkably fresh. I did see whitening results a few days after brushing with the Arm & Hammer toothpaste twice a day.  The baking soda works to fight deep surface stains and hopefully will not bring back the yellowness on my teeth for a while.  I can’t give this product 5 stars only because my breath after brushing was not as minty fresh as I usually like it to be.  I do rinse with mouthwash afterwards but I prefer to have a minty breath for at least an hour after brushing.  I did not have the fresh breath after using this product as I usually like.  Other than that, a great product to whiten your teeth gently and effectively.

Leaving the dentist after a teeth cleaning is always a refreshing feeling.  My teeth are clean, spotless, no plaque, and shiny.  After I get home, I maintain my oral care by brushing twice a day and flossing everyday but after a few months, the plaque builds up and I can never get the same type of clean that the hygienist provides. Luckily there are additional oral care routines that I can partake in and inexpensive tools to keep my teeth in good shape.

For the very first time I used the Waterpik ultra cordless dental water jet.  I have never used such a fancy piece of equipment before but it was a great new experience.  When I am sitting in the dentist chair, I have always wanted to take home some of the equipment used, such as the water flosser and the air vacuum.  I never thought I could actually buy these products for myself.  The Waterpik is cordless and needs to be charged like a cell phone.  There are 2 pressure settings and comes with 4 tips (classic, orthodontic, plaque, and tongue).  I used all of them just to see the differences.  The plaque and orthodontic tips had small bristles to get around your gums and teeth.  After I charged the waterpik overnight, I filled it up with some water and was able to get to my daily flossing routine. I did feel like I was at the dentist and received an excellent cleaning like the hygienist.  The waterpik does take some time to adjust but at least it was cordless.  The other awkward moment was when the water just drips out of your mouth.  This is where the air vacuum would come into place as if I was at the dentist.  Overall I was able to clean my teeth and it was a nice refreshing feeling.  I probably would not be using the waterpik every night because it is a little more time consuming then just flossing my teeth the old fashioned way. But the results of the waterpik are much more noticeable than traditional flossing.  The high pressure of the water really shoots out onto your teeth and is able to clean out food particles and hopefully removing the plaque buildup. I noticed that I could even fill up the waterpik with my favorite mouthwash and use the tongue tip.  Now this is a very useful suggestion and I can really get a hold of bad breath germs. I plan on using the waterpik every few days since it does require a  little more work than traditional flossing.
