The only occasions I can think of where you need to brush your teeth but can’t use a toothbrush would be for a child or if you had experienced oral surgery.  There are options if one of these instances applies to you. A soft cloth is the best way to clean sensitive gums and teeth.  The cloth must be small and free of germs and bacteria.  Something easy to maneuver and stays clean while brushing your teeth would be beneficial in comparison to a toothbrush.

The Orymed Finger is a piece of soft cloth that you can use to clean your mouth or your child’s mouth easily.  The antibacterial, microfiber material is very soft and gently glides over your teeth and gums.  For sensitive gums, this may be ideal.  However, there are no instructions to use toothpaste.  I would prefer to  use a gentle toothpaste while using the Orymed Finger in order to effectively clean my teeth. You would definitely need a baggy of some sort to transport or reuse the Orymed Finger.  However I would probably want to clean it after every use.  The Orymed Finger can be used for up to a week, but I wouldn’t want the same bacteria and germs floating on the surface.  I would not use this everyday but its a great option for kids and post oral surgery. You could even use the Orymed Finger on your pet’s teeth, as long as they don’t bite!

Need an at home whitening treatment but have sensitive teeth? I would like to whiten my teeth more frequently but occasionally experience sensitivity which discourages me from whitening.  Wakening up in the middle of the night to pounding nerve ends in my teeth is not a pleasant experience.  Luckily I have discovered various whitening brands that specialize in sensitive treatments.  I prefer at home whitening treatments so that I can rest comfortably at home and prefer a whitening process that takes no longer than an hour.  So that I can whiten my teeth effectively and in the comforts of my home!

The Opalescence Tres White Supreme is a great way to whiten your teeth comfortably, effectively, and quickly! The package comes with 10 upper trays and 10 lower trays to whiten your teeth.  The trays are already pre-pasted with the whitening material so that all you have to do is place the trays on your teeth! The trays fit very comfortably and were almost relaxing. No need to measure the whitening material, no mess, and very easy to maintain.  After about 20 minutes, I noticed a foam buildup in the tray but I recall the foaming action to occur with other whitening materials.  After about 30 minutes, I could feel the whitening treatment but my teeth were not experiencing the sensitivity pain.  The whitening ingredients also come in a tasty minty flavor which was very pleasant! Compared to other leading brand whitening products with unpleasant flavors. After about 40 minutes, I removed the trays and noticed there was buildup on my teeth that I easily brushed away with my toothbrush.  The next day, I saw immediate results! I also experienced no sensitivity throughout the night or the next day! I was very happy with the results. I can’t wait to continue using the Opalescence Tres White Supreme for the next week.  I anticipate having a bright white smile by the end of the week!

I enjoy using Butler Gum toothbrushes.  The bristles are delicate for my gums, yet strong enough to remove plaque and food from my teeth.  I also like having extra packs of Butler Gum toothbrushes at the house.  I need a toothbrush that is soft but not too soft so that I cannot properly clean my teeth.  The bristles are the most important feature of the toothbrush and I need to make sure I can reach my wisdom teeth and keep them healthy.  A simple toothbrush is all I need to keep my teeth and gums healthy! Great for traveling and I can carry several toothbrushes just in case I need an extra!

The Butler Gum Angle toothbrush is made to clean the gums and just below the gumline.  The bristles are soft and perfectly glide across your gums.  After brushing my mouth felt very clean and my teeth felt clean.  All visible plaque was removed and my teeth felt slick. The toothbrush comes in a compact head and a full size head.  Also the bristles can be soft or sensitive.  The soft bristles worked great on my teeth and I would feel comfortable using this toothbrush even if I was experiencing some sensitivity or had mouth sores. This Butler Gum Angle Toothbrush comes in a pack of 12 so it can be shared among family members and great for trips! I highly recommend this toothbrush for anyone that is looking for a simple manual toothbrush that will clean your teeth and gums effectively.

You can take care of your teeth and take care of the environment! Do you recycle and use biodegradable goods? Why not clean your teeth with recyclable goods as well! An added bonus is if the product itself is made from natural ingredients that are safe and healthy for your body.  We live in a green-friendly society and are aware of what we throw away and recycle.  I try to recycle as often as possible.  However, I usually throw away the plastic case that dental floss usually comes in.  A recyclable floss container would be great for the environment!

The Eco-DenT Premium Gentle Floss is a great floss that comes in a biodegradable casing! I will admit I was a little skeptical when I had to unravel the floss a little to make sure it comes through the hole but then I realized it is because it is in a airtight casing within the biodegradable case. Also the floss has essential oils and enzymes that may dry up if removed from the plastic and not used in a timely manner. After I setup my floss, the floss was a great floss that glided smoothly between my teeth and my gums. The floss was soft, vegan waxed, and I use it everyday! The mint flavor is pretty subtle but I feel great using the floss and being able to dispose of it in a green friendly way! The cardboard container can be recycled and you can let your vegan friends use the floss too! All natural products and oils were used in the ingredients of the floss.  The floss is comparable to the leading brands and has the advantage of using natural products and being disposed of in green friendly manner. I highly recommend this product to anyone that flosses!

I recently started using natural products because they are less abrasive and use natural ingredients.  Before I used natural products, I would experience mouth sores, gum sensitivity, and overall my mouth would be irritated.  I needed a toothpaste that would effectively clean my teeth but would not give me negative side effects.  I was not used to this sensitivity and was pretty surprised when it started happening.  I was also surprised that there were so many natural products to choose from which provided the same benefits as the leading brand dental products! It was nice to be able to recognize the ingredients and know that I am using natural ingredients for my body.

The Nature’s Gate Natural  Gel Toothpaste is a great product safe to use for your whole family! The gel toothpaste is 100% flouride free and keeps your teeth healthy and cavity-free. The gel was a very simple formula with initially no flavor. But as I started to brush, the minty flavor emerged and was a pleasant experience! No harsh irritants, no sensitivity which allowed me to brush my teeth for an extended period of time. Normally other toothpastes leave it hard to brush my teeth for the full recommended 2 minutes because my mouth would burn from the taste, alcohol, and harsh ingredients.  The Nature’s Gate toothbrush was refreshing and I would have no problem using it even if I had any sores or sensitivity.  I highly recommend this product for anyone that prefers natural ingredients or anyone that needs a gentle cleaning solution for their teeth and gums!

Rinsing with mouthwash is an important step in my dental routine.  I primarily use mouthwash to freshen my breath and continue to clean my mouth throughout the day.  Bacteria and germs buildup throughout the day which can cause bad breath.  Also many mouthwashes come with additional factors like teeth whitening and anti-cavity.  It’s a simple way to keep breath fresh and to maintain my oral health.  However, many mouthwashes contain alcohol which may not necessarily freshen breath.  There are many natural mouthwashes that do not contain alcohol or other artificial preservatives.  Natural ingredients can be used in order to combat bad breath and fight germs!

Natural Dentist Antiseptic Rinse is a natural solution for maintaining your oral care and keeping your breath fresh! It comes in a cool mint flavor which was refreshing and moistened my mouth.  However, the mouth wash had a syrup like thickness and had a sharp flavor. The Natural Dentist Antiseptic Rinse is made with grapefruit seed extract and it takes a little like grapefruit! So if you enjoy, fruit flavors, this may be the product for you. The rinse is alcohol free and kills germs on contact.  I was able to rinse my mouth in the morning after breakfast and brushing my teeth.  My mouth felt clean and fresh.  But the freshness did not last for more than an hour.  I had to continue cleaning my mouth throughout the day with gums and mints.  I prefer a more long-lasting freshness when it comes to mouthwash. I did enjoy using the natural ingredients but I need something more long-lasting.

Disposable toothbrushes are convenient to have at home and great for traveling.  I use my favorite toothbrush on a regular basis but every once in a while, its nice to have extra toothbrushes at home for after you are sick or need a spare for a guest.  I also like using disposable toothbrushes while traveling so that I can just dispose of the toothbrush after I’m done.  One less thing to pack when going home.  A pre-pasted toothbrush would be even better because I wouldn’t have to carry an extra toothpaste with me.  Great for an overnight trip or I could even bring one to work! You just never know when bad breath strikes and you want to clean up your mouth!

Dr. Fresh Disposable Pre-Pasted Toothbrush was very convenient and easy to use.  Simply add water and you are ready to brush.  The paste slowly foamed and eventually spread over the toothbrush head.  However, I was disappointed with the toothpaste. The toothpaste had no flavor, no substance, and I felt like I was brushing my teeth with milky water.  Not very pleasant.  I did like the toothbrush and how it was pre-packaged individually.  The toothbrush can be used again afterwards but I would recommend using another toothpaste which defeats the purpose of the pre-pasted toothbrush.  If the toothpaste was better, this would be a great product.  The toothbrush had a nice handle, the bristles were soft and nicely glided over my teeth and gums.  With a decent toothpaste, I’m sure I could have cleaned my teeth with this toothbrush.  Not my favorite pick and I would not lend them out to my friends or family.

We all battle bad breath! Even after brushing our teeth, twice or three times a day, bad breath can strike at any time! Could be after a meal, could be dehydration, could be leftover food or buildup plaque.  There must be a way to completely eliminate bad breath! I have bad breath in the morning and late afternoon. Throughout the day, I am eating and drinking foods that are most likely causing the bad breath. I brush my teeth twice a day and floss daily but I still have bad breath occasionally.  I hate having to eat mints or chew gum all day, instead I just want my breath feeling fresh all the time.  I know this is impossible but if I could partially eliminate my bad breath than I would be happy.

Pureline Tongue Cleaner is a recommended product by dentists and hygienists.  This tongue cleaner has a great handle and is very easy to use.  The tongue cleaner clearly fits your entire tongue so that you don’t have to go back over the surface several times. If you check your tongue now, you probably have a film covered on your tongue, which includes bacteria and germs that are causing your bad breath! Gross! Good thing, you can remove it with the Pureline Tongue Cleaner. I thought brushing my teeth would be enough but it does not remove the film on your tongue. Just use water after brushing your teeth and slowly glide the tongue cleaner forward on your tongue. It doesn’t hurt and it doesn’t feel like much.  But it sure gets all the gunk and film off your tongue! I noticed that my breath stayed a little fresher in the morning.  I plan on continuing using the Pureline Tongue Cleaner everyday for more noticeable difference! Removing the germs and bacteria daily, should improve my bad breath and overall oral health! A great product to have and I would recommend it to everyone, since we all can suffer from bad breath at any given moment!

Who doesn’t enjoy a pedicure spa! Save the costs and do it at home! In the past I was getting pedicures twice a month, now I’m lucky to get one once a year! The costs really add up and I’d rather spend my money on other luxuries!
